White Floor

2D image of the white marble floor: This image was provided by the client with exact measurements (13ft, 7 inches x 9ft, 8 inches). There was wood panelling to be done around the floor therefore, we had to make the floor to the exact millimetre so that could fit in the wooden panelling like a pre-fab.

3D rendering of the interior provided by the client: The client provided a 3D render of their future space from many angles so that we could envision where the floor would go.
Semi-finished inlay: The semi-precious stones are kept on top of the marble slab. A quarter of the work was done. The photo of the same was sent to the client for approval before actually inlaying the stones into the marble by digging a cavity. This step is crucial to ensure that the client is happy with the work and any modifications can be accommodated at this stage as well.

Finished floor with polishing: The final floor was made in 2 sections and polished to a high gloss mirror finish. It was packed and shipped in 2 separate crates.
The floor is installed at the client’s premises. The contrast of the wood and the marble looks gorgeous and the traditional inlays complement the modern interior.

Green Floor

The green marble was bought from Baroda, India taking care that it was a deep sea green as requested by the client.

The client was shown option of the borders with lilies and roses. This is the stage of customisation to accommodate client preference. The centre of the table has designs inspired by Italian tables from Florence.
The floor was completed and polished to a high sheen to give a mirror finish. it was installed at the client's premises where it fit perfectly in the cavity designed for it.

Maroon Floor

2D image of the maroon marble floor with white skirting: This image was provided by the client with exact measurements (14ft, 11 inches X 5ft, 8 inches). This floor was to have a major maroon component. The maroon marble was specially sourced from Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

The entire semi-precious stones were put on top of the marble. The flowers at the centre of the floor were taken from botanical books. Therefore, the flowers are natural and accurate. The flowers at the border are variations of the marigold flower.
The floor was made in 4 sections and were cut to the last millimetre so that it could be fitted within the wooden flooring.

The floors were packed separately into wooden crates and were shipped via sea to the nearest seaport of the client.

Panels

A total of 16 panels were made with provisions made so that they could be backlit. These panels were to adorn both the floors of the house. They were put in the supporting wooden pillars giving them a life of their own. 8 of the panels had a rose theme and the other 8 had lilies on them.

8 rose panels ready to be shipped to the client. The panels were made so that the roses and lilies were facing alternate directions.
The finished panels were installed on two different floors with the provision of being backlit. It brought out the translucency of the marble and gave the home another decor item to talk about.
