Colors used in Marble Table Tops: Our Marble Table Tops are inlaid with semi-precious stones in beautiful hues that create pieces of unsurpassed elegance and detail. We use semi-precious stones such as blue lapis lazuli, green malachite, orange carnelian, iridescent mother-of-pearl and many more to adorn our table tops.
Marbles used in Table Tops: We procure some of the best marble from all over India, Vietnam, Italy and Greece. All marbles have their own beauty and strength but the white Indian Makrana Marble, mined in the quarries of Rajasthan, in India is the strongest and the longest lasting of all. Not only do we use many marble types but also many marble colors to make our masterpieces such as white, green, beige and black that suit almost any décor style.
Patterns on Marble Table Tops: Pietra Dura is the Italian technique of inlaying semi- precious stones on marble. Delicate pieces of Pietra Dura art were brought as gifts to the Mughal courts by Italian emissaries. It was first used on the buildings built by the Mughal emperors both outside and inside the rooms. It is still available to see on many Mughal era buildings such as The Agra fort, The Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri etc. In India, the technique got more refined and delicate and took on the name of Parchinkari.
Today our artisans use this technique to create unparalleled and unique designs that have never existed before. Our designs are inspired by the flowers and the wildlife of the world. Additional to the semi-precious stones, we use brass and wood to add another dimension to our products. The juxtaposition of the gold of the brass and the deep brown of the wood give elegance to the already beautiful marble.
We export our products all over the world including USA and Europe so feel free to order your favourite product with complete peace of mind and receive them via international couriers such as DHL and FedEx.
